Going up the Delaware this friday for shad. I don't know how far up they are yet. Usually we go to Narrowsburg but last year we were a bit late and only saw a few caught. Back in the late 80's-90's there were lots of shad, now, not so many I guess.

This is the best year we've had on the river in 4-5. I would imagine they'll be @ Narrowburg by week's end if they aren't there already. They were in the DWGNRA on Saturday hitting little spoons

Shad has been thick & heavy for past 3 weeks, down here. We got a nice 4 pounder last weekend that was full of row. My wife pickeled the row, and boiled the fish.
