Yeah that was the time to buy - right before prices went bonkers. I was in the process of trying to piece my life back together in those days - certainly not able to look for property. I missed out, BIGtime.

Back then you could buy a 2,500 square foot house in the middle of the suburbs for $120k - yes, this was in MA too!! What the hell happened??? :roll: My buddy paid $135k for his place that year. 2200 sq.ft, not much of a yard, but minutes away from 395, so PRIME real estate. Also within sight is Webster Lake. Same house in '07 was selling for $300k! :shock:

I can't complain at all though. Never thought I'd ever afford any property at all in MA, and through the Grace of God I ended up on over 2 private acres with the best neighbors on the planet. 8-)
