So much work for limited utility, but he knew that before he started.

There seems to be within us to a greater or lesser degree that need to try something different. I think that is where technological progress comes from.

That thing is MINT!! Love how it shakes the whole chassis just chuffing along.

What I would give to roll through an earth-day festival in Cambridge with that thing, burning bitty coal & smoking a cigar! That would be fantastic!!

That would be funny but if you were going to do that I think we can improve on this machine. Mayby we could add a trailer with generator to power a huge sign that uses 200W incandescent bulbs to show how much energy we're wasting, like the debt clock.

Glad to see the "unit" came to a snappy stop when the brakes were applied,an absolute must if you have a need to work that piece near onlookers. You guys do not appreciate the giant step forward in technology you are viewing when you watch that video. The reciprocating mass is so great on this class engine that some among the hobby find it necessary to start the bigger engines by standing on the spokes to "roll over"the piston. The John Deere "pony motor" is actually a safety feature the way I see it.There is always a better way to do something, it is just that we average guys seldom look past the "it works O.K."stage.It is fellows like this man that made this country great in the past.If we were viewing this in 1920,orders would be coming in from all over the place for such innovation. Osha hmmmm,I think that is a town in Nebraska. Mike
