BTW: With this wet weather and an infant in the house, to take off the chill the ole Vogelzang Pot Bellied stove has been burning some good old fashioned Pennsylvania anthracite coal in her. The coal burns nice and evenly for hours chasing away the damp feeling and keeping the infant warm.

Life is good!

Things have improved of late I recognize, but things were not always so great in my life. I am 39 years old after all and on my third marriage, and there was a lot of hurt in those years.

Even now I know, that without exception when God gives you a blessing, (such as a baby), a test always follows, and it has already reared its ugly head. The ex-wife last week filed a lawsuit on my wife and I forcing us to retain a lawyer. I won't get into the specifics, but my point is, there is always dark clouds in everyone's life it is just online not everyone states the bad stuff. I mention the lawsuit now only to show transparency in my own life...not to whine about it. We'll get through it.

And certainly never forget that with blessings (farms, babies and forests) come tremendous responsibilities. I am about to mature whether I want to or not and must have faith that somehow God will get me through it.

I wish.

I forgot what having an infant was like. I was thinking a few weeks ago that with all my time off, I could get this and that done, but oh how I forgot how much time infants eat up. I can barely mow my lawn let alone put up a porch and get flooring down. This wet weather has not helped either, but most of it is due to the little one needing this and that like Dr appointments, feedings and the like. She has been really good...very little crying and sleeps a lot, but has to be held in order to do so. The problem is you can't get much done holding a sleeping infant.

It will be good for NEPA though. At this rate I will never get next years firewood in and have to rely almost entirely on coal to heat my home! :-)

13 months between children? Sounds like you already got to work, and I don't mean emptying the ash pan either! :inlove: :D

I can't say much, there was 13 months between my sister and I so you know right away I was an oops baby. When people keep asking us if we will try for a boy again I just say, "Well all 4 girls were planned and everyone has an oops baby, so maybe that is what will happen." Who knows, but me and the Mrs did discuss birth control last night which is something we have never had to use. Decisions, decisions and only 4 weeks and 5 days to figure it out! :D
