Uncle, uncle.

Forget that stoopid wood stuff in the Jotul 507, that lasted about 24 minutes. So we are burnin' coal again still!! It's c rappola nut but I'm warm, Gretel burns anything.

Dear coal God, how could I have wandered, forgive me.

I keep cycling the furnace on and off. There's 1/8 tank. I'm really debating on hooking the stove back up.

All I have is black sludge left but you are welcome to come over with a shovel and dig it out. You can have have the tank as well if you like. Gretels purring and I'm cozy.

Yeah, thanks. I'm about to hook the stove back up and fire it up again. This is ridiculous. Woke up and it was 50* in the house. Turned the furnace back on. It's been running now for 35 minutes.

I can tell you it was cold! And just after we returned to our car after seeing a fantastic race, it started to rain.

5/27 edit: 62 degrees at the start, and 65 degrees at the end (per one of the post race news blurbs I just read). 3rd coldest Indy 500 in history.
