Hell no. He is being signed as a QB but it was made clear obviously he is not gonna be the starter. But he is a resource to make teams have to adjust their defense when playing New England.

I don't mind the signing, cost us essentially nothing with no risk and even though I'm very sure he will never play quarterback as long as Brady is still breathing, I'm sure Bill has something up his sleeve and it should make for some entertaining football ;) I can see him as a tight end, fast side outlet catcher during a blitz or maybe Bill has something more dramatic in store for us and will rebuild him into a defensive monster  The man is clearly a physical specimen, great work ethic and is a "football" player his whole life (however minimal his role may be, he can be put to use doing something in the game and Bill knows it)

What I don't want to see is any showboating from him or posing for cam's or center stage kneebow's anymore  Just play the game and give it 100% when your on the field and be "one of the many"!

He doesn't showboat - it's the media hype that painted him that way. He's a good, decent American, unlike some others who have worn that uniform in the past.

Just sad that today when someone kneels to give thanks to the Lord, it becomes a media sensation. This should be a common sight, but in our society that sight is never seen. That's a large part of the reason we have all the issues we have today in society, AND in government. Not suggesting you MUST believe in God to be moral, but 97% of the time those that do, are. Society is broken, and needs fixing ....

What "showboating" has he done? Your real complaint should be with the media.

True enough... I believe in God and all but I just don't need to see him bowing and kneeling at every opportunity to praise the lord with everything he does (not that I mind so much but the media will then record, replay and comment everytime he does it).

I cant wait to see the "Master Plan" for him though and it will be fun to watch (im sure he will try his best at anything Bill wants to try him at). I want to see if he can tackle & catch mainly

I am sure the Patriots will sell LOTS of Jerseys the next couple of weeks!

I see countless athletes from all sports, both professional and amateur make religious gestures before, during and after sporting events. Tebow is not the first nor will he be the last. Why the media has decided to hone in on him is regrettable. The man has been pre judged prior to having a real chance to prove himself as either a success or failure in the NFL.

That's very true, I think he is a great kid and an excellent role model regardless of and religious beliefs. Yet I feel he would be half the man with out his considering the envy, jealousy, and the "can't wait to see him trip over his dillywacker" attitude the media and so called football fans have....the guy will sell more shirts than any individual in the football hall of fame, just wait...reminds me of Doug flutie who had the, don't tell me I can't play professional football mind set!
You know he is going to score against the jets

Good pick, will be QB at some point. Brady getting long in the tooth, gracefully, no doubt, but hey,the NFL is hard, harder still
on older players. Nothing wrong with being deep. Never saw show boating, mostly media hype. Patriots will put him to good use,
no fear. ;) NY who?

He looks good, he plays good, he sounds good, and that he also is not ashamed of his faith and is not afraid to show it is also good.
