I was never a fan of the Sopranos but I enjoyed him other films. I even had the pleasure of meeting him once back in 2000 at the Garden State Plaza where he was filming an episode of the show. I was doing an inspection and walked through their set. Some guy started yelling at me from the set and Mr. Gandolphini came out and asked what was going on. I apologized and told him that I was doing an inspection. He told the guy that was yelling at me to let me do my inspection.

He was a cool dude. He'll be missed, he was a terrific actor.
