Soldiers last words.

We can give handouts to those too lazy to help themselves. We can give to illegal immigrants sucking off our system. But we cannot help our soldiers. WTF

I don't think he did the right thing at all. He should have fought, but he should also have been given help.

We need to have some real million man marches in DC. ... -534538357

Being in the VA system myself I know that help is there the problem is there is no one way & sadly for many there is no cure or help. Every person is different & we all carry some baggage but do so differently, one can never say positively how they would react to any given situation or if they can carry their burden high & maybe even be able to help others or to allow it to drag you down. As I said unless you have seen & did what bother some so but yet others can find a way to live with you can never be certain. He found his way at long last & I'm sure it was not easy, RIP My Brother.

The man has found his own peace in his action. We all make choices & even if I disagree with Somers's choice, I had not walked in his moccasins. Rest well my brother.

What a tragic thing and what a criminal thing that goes unpunished or even has the willingness to find answers on the part of those responsible.

I can only read by inference what was troubling this man and it was not some mental defect but rather sanity was what he was suffering from. Voodoo priests are not much good at curing that.

That was just heartbreaking. What the hell is becoming of our country? Stuff like this makes me feel like we're bearing witness to the end of the greatest Republic that ever lived. :(

Our government puts forth more effort on wiping God and religion from every aspect of our lives than helping just ONE soldier that sacrificed it all for his country.

With all the "listening" the federal gooberment is doing, how is it that not one of them heard this guys' cry for help??????????? The VA has gotten better of late but still has light years to go. Makes me so *censored* mad , how can we the people be so out of control in a country with a freely elected government? Do we elect people that dont care how we feel or do they tell themselves " you dont understand the big picture" and vote their own mind ? :?

RIP Daniel and know that I am grateful
