Pretty much the same around here, there's a lot that's been cut & laying but no sun to dry it up so many don't have their first cut yet.

Dang... 2 things stopped me today, first pan hydraulic cylinder, i have rebuild kit, but figured how can some screw that up, well it was a leaker, than latch for pan system...well it broke with half a wagon load of hay. So rebuilt cylinder, inner seal was just crumbling when i went to remove it. Should have rebuilt it when i did control valve for kicker. Latch... it was repaired before.... but obviously whom ever welded it can't weld for crap. no penetration so it rusted away from inside orginal break. If it don't rain tonite, tomorrow will be a sick day. got about 8 wagon loads of hay to get off the ground.

Oh as far as the baler running... plungers great, knotters are perfect, timing of pan for length of bales is spot on. 36-38" bales, and about 45-50 pounds.

No not hamster bales... for girls and old guys :funny: that have horses. fired up the baler... ran it,, weld is holding up, had to heat and put a slight bemd in latch plate. Perfect. to get best action out of kicker need to run RPM at 2200 or better, pto speed(540) is 2450 rpm. yep sends them bales a flying there, bounce off top board backwall of wagon. Do turn it down to 3 to start for filling botom middle front of wagon, then around 6 for gettin them up higher than sides of wagon.

No help again today... so all i put up was about 375 by myself unloading and stacking. Frigging hot.
