Yesterday was a pretty damb exceptional day... Got a referral from a Nepa member that was so outstanding its still blowing my mind (I still don't know who the heck it was because I cant remember everyones email vs their forum names )
I think its onedollar or whistlenut or one of the good folks here. anyways... here goes...
#1 Found an Exceptional Crane Stove with a trim kit and features ive been searching years for (namely the cast enamel kit).
#2 Met an incredible man who happen to know my dad and rented him his first building.
#3 This man happened to need a realtor for exceptional property .
#4 driving home past all the glorious properties I stopped at a yard sale (because its a hobby & addiction ) and picked up a ring for $5.00 (looks like a heavy large costume jewelry piece) and a marble hearth (they clearly did not know what these cost) for $5.00
below are the pics of these 2 items... anyone wish to venture a guess at the possible value of the two items (note the lil' mark inside this HUGE ring )? I'm kinda feeling like I should play powerball after a day like this!

Norman who ?
Nice finds, but I'd rather be shot in the knee than go to a yard sale.

thanks newbie... this was an epic day for me and I was so excited, not only for the stove I got and the free gold but also for the work (I do love my job) and because none of the above would have occurred without being a member of this fine forum I thought it was note worthycoalnewbie wrote:Well, not in the knee but a flesh wound definitely. tsb, Norman Rockwell was a great banjo player in his day, duh, where have you been?
Norman Rockwell was the most famous artist for the Saturday Evening Post for those who did not know (His original artwork can range from 10's of thousands to 100's of thousands and New England is the place they are still uncovered from time to time)... I was happy with my Jumbo Gold & Garnet Ring for $5.00
