There's more sticker shock coming http://www.cnn.com/2013/07/24/world/cli ... index.html & it sounds like they haven't even thought about the possible germs & viruses & such that may be released as well.

This is what my Phd Friend calls the light at the end of the tunnel. Locomotive light that is! Something on the order of seven times as potent as CO2. We're gonna heat up till the Greenland current shuts down then its time for the next ice age. Dont know how much humans have accelerated the cycle, but we most certainly have. In the words of the infamous Billy Joel, "We didnt start the fire............" but we are fannin' the flames. :?

I'd venture that the computer algorithm is incorrect. Computer algorithms only do what the programmer wants them to do.

To strip that of its politeness, it's nothing but bullshit to foment panic, and when it is shown to be bullshit it will hurt the very cause they are trying to promote.

That last article says the permafrost will barely be affected but yet that is exactly what & where the first one is saying it's coming from, how do you think they found that wooly mammoth in Siberia, it wasn't by knowing where it was dropped. Hope you are all right & most likely are after all there is so much oil in Oil City, Pa. area it will never run out, then the same was true in Texas & there are so many Buffalo out in the west that mortal man could never wipe them out, & the list goes on.

About 20,000 years ago there was a glacier that was right over where my house is, in fact my neighbor down the road has a piece of spruce wood that well drillers brought up when he had his new well drilled, it still smells like spruce. Any way my point is humans did not cause the glaciers to recede then and I am skeptical of our "hand" in it now. Methane's life in the atmosphere is about 10 years. I feel that this global warming scare is a try at a power grab. Many of the people I encounter that spew global warming/man made climate change propaganda have no understanding of what they are saying they are merely reciting what they have been told.

Most natural resources are finite Sam, Oil is still being pumped out of the ground in Texas and with the help of horizontal fracturing my grand children might live to see the end of that, buffalo were never wiped out completely I have seen them and eaten there steaks.

Why is it we feel this nonsense is always fact. People will make millions off of fear. The fact is we will all be gone someday, but while I am here stop trying to take more and more from my labor.

Here's a question for you Sam, what is the correct extent of ice in the Arctic?

One thing you have to be very careful about with anything to do with the Arctic is that it wasn't until the late 70's and the advent of satellites they were able to get real good data.

Oil City ran out and other sources were found we are up to our t****tties in oil an NG, the only problem we have is not enough refining capacity. I can get organic buffalo meat at Shoprite and that is all I care about. Here is the news, the world changes. How much ice is there is there in the much more important Antartic, psst the world has two poles. I don't know what is happening but nor does anyone else the planet continues on it's eternal cycles. We simply need to study and learn and not wreck the economy unnecessarily. Let's leave it to the scientists not some Kenyan retard or out of work ex Pres. candidate. Al Gores bimbos are not going to like that message as Al needs money to fuel his (environmentally responsible) Learjet. He just needs to talk to more libtard sheeple. Hey, 18 year old blondes are expensive and that is the only inconvenient truth he has stumbled across.

We thought the Woolly Mammoth was extinct and yet now we know one has now resurfaced in Freetown Corners ..... hahahahahaha I slay myself.

Bad analogy with the buffalo Carl--the Native Americans depended on them for not only food, but clothing, blankets & shelter---for all intensive purposes--they were wiped out by 10 fold -- eliminate the food source---eliminate the people

Odd, it seems that most are willing to ignore anything as long as it doesn't effect them here & now, I guess it's become self preservation rather than that of the species. PS if it wasn't for man the Buffalo & many other species would no longer be, saw a movie on the Great Lakes not long ago that I thought should be shown nationwide instead of just the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, you wouldn't believe the abundance of the Sturgeon (I believe it was) bigger than most men & caught & slaughtered just for their eggs, not even used for fertilizer those too would never end but would have & may still but man is trying to save them. And the first oil well in Titusville, Pa. still has oil (good Pa. crude) that you can taste a bit to keep you regular but nothing like it was.

If something bad is happening at both poles, I would think that would affect the rest of the world as well?

My point being, in MA, it still snows in winter, and gets hot in summer. Until that changes, I call BULLSHIT on all of it.

.... but Smitty think of all those sturgeon we killed. If only we lived under communism that could never have happened. Also if we lived under those commies we could all be drinking Pa oil for constipation and standardized senna preparations would have never been invented. These are the strongest cases yet for suffering under a criminal Kenyan as I can't think of anything else he has done well.

I know let's all have a "Save the Sturgeon" March. If they are sturgeon of color Sr. Sharpton will organize a march in 100 cities for us. Obummer will say if I bred a son it would look like him. PHkn idots.
