haven't priced any yet, will call cheveries in plymouth, and find out. last time I called in early spring it was $170 a ton P/U. Need about 5>6 tons nut, might get some bagged pea for fringe weather maybe a pallet. suppose I can extend bin to fit another 2 tons.

Sounds about the same as last year...where from?JohnB wrote:Best price I could find is $289 a ton for bagged Blaschak with a $49 delivery charge so my 6 tons will cost me $297 a ton total. Best price for bulk delivered is $330 a ton. First year burning coal so no idea if this is higher or lower then last year.

I bought it here: http://www.pelletsdirect.com/Wood%20Pellets%20Pricing.htm Scroll to the bottom of the page for coal. There was a July special on the delivery charges, now gone. Very nice folks to deal with.

FYI for anyone looking for a good deal!!!
Just called Mammoth Material down in Pottsville (570-544-8245), Nut and Pea are currently on sale for $125 at ton!! All other sizes are $150 a ton (still a good price), pick up of course. Not ,sure how long the Nut and Pea will be on sale, but typically prices rise in September. I have never burned their coal, but have read that most others here like it. I have burned UAE for the past three years, sounds like these guys are on the same level of quality or pretty close. I know it’s not the heating season yet and most people are still in the swing of summer, but does anyone have input on burning Mammoth coal? I plan on making a 4 Ton run before the end of the month!
Fall will be here before you know it…

Burned MM pea size last season...it is okay. Ash is good...burned hot...but has some shale. But I must say, I'm not using natural draft either. YMMVOldkingcoal wrote:FYI for anyone looking for a good deal!!!

Yep. I second this information. Just ordered three pallets from them for the season. Gonna be a cold winter this year. Paid $279/Ton with a $70 delivery charge.SMITTY wrote:Squire Lumber in Monson is $279/ton this year for all sizes - Blaschak 40 lb.bags - $20/ton less than last year.
But not quite as cheap as everyone else on here!
$70 delivery charge regardless of amount delivered. The more you buy, the more you save on that.
