just had rice delivered $275.00 a ton,$40.00 delivery fee.
I am picking up 4400lbs bagged from BT pellet in Suffield ct for $285/ton. Two 1.2 ton skids. Still had 26 bags left over from last year so I'll be close to 3 tons. Never ever burned over two tons in any year.

Another scoop/ton wouldn't fit in my bin. I'm only a few minutes south of the supplier so small batches aren't inconvenient.
And, Believe me I'm not worried about hurting the truck...not even a little bit.

Just picked up 3 ton nut in bulk @ $260/ton - decent quality from what I can tell (being new at this); there was a minimal amount of slightly larger than rice sized pieces that appeared to be from a ground-level scoop of the bucket. Owner/operator of business noticed this and threw in an extra 75lbs free.
That's the cheapest I can find around me.

Wanted to give buck a try but I did not want to be stuck with 18 tons if my stove didn't like buck..

$225.00/ton Blaschak rice. 3 tons ordered. $25.00 flat delivery fee. Coming Wednesday. Maybe I'll up the order. First year with stoker in a new home. Not sure how much I'll burn. I'm guessing 4-5 tons. Suppliers in area state getting not her load mid winter shouldn't be a problem. Can borrow a Stake body P.O.S Ford Ranger if I need to make. Breaker run.
