Here is a pic of the draft damper attached to the stove with the gasket glued to the draft box with red RTV silicone. The gasket makes it air tight and makes up for any differences between the curve of the draft box and the curve of the stove. I also welded a small tab on the bottom with a 1/4" hole for an extra 1/4" bolt.

And here is the final setup so far. I got out my DSLR and used my best Photoshop LIghtroom skills. I call it "A portrait of Chubbiness"! :clap:

Notice the draft damper's placement towards the rear corner of the stove makes it pretty invisible and out of the way when in front.

Nice JR. The true test isn't all that far down the road. In theory, she should work really well. Plus, what the hell, she's real purty:) Nice hearth area.
