"I predict to you, the oil-producing countries will drop the price of oil," Clinton said, speaking at the Manchester YWCA. "They will once again assume, once the cost pressure is off, Americans and our political process will recede."

Clinton argued that former President Jimmy Carter in the late 1970s actually started moving in the right direction toward energy independence, but his successor, Ronald Reagan, "dismantled" that work.

What I find funny is that she really thinks US voters are really that stupid.
I find it endlessly entertaining listening to Hillary speaking before a crowd. Her handlers must tell her not to yell, she always starts out speaking normally, but as the crowd begins to respond to her witty right-on-target remarks, the voice begins to get louder, finally ending in a hawk-like screech. Just what we men need to hear. :blah:

Agreed! When she doesn't carefully control her voice, it naturaly degrades into a shrill, male nerve jarring, please let me listen to that "nails on the chalkboard" tape instead.

What I find funny, is that she is campaigning/speaking of processes that our present government (judicial, legislative, and executive branches) have already started. This is nothing new and it is not her idea. I just wish our present and future government would push harder and faster.

Hillary as President...scary....but if it happens...I will give her the respect that she deserves because she would be filling that one position that is only one branch of our government. (I won't be voting for her though)

Now I'm doing it...this is suppose to be about oil commercials!!

Yes it is, it's politically charged topic but lets keep the political discussion out of it if it's not concerning oil. ;)

Its all political, watch "Iraq's average oil production was 2.4 million barrels per day in November 2007", pre-war levels were 2.5 million.

Yes but the last few post have nothing to do with "oil Commercials", topics wander but this one has jumped the tracks and made a u-turn. Try and keep them on topic as much as possible. I really hate getting into topic only to find it's been hi-jacked half way through and the original topic is not addressed.

I agreed, you all should start your own topic. I never implied Bush has any control over the price of oil. I'm sure the industry is worried about losing market share. I hear people at work talking about getting there tanked filled.Big Bucks Most people are stuck! But some are looking at alternatives!
