After worrying about the roof on my house, it had to be at least 35 years old, I finally broke down and had a new one put on. After two layers of shingles were taken off, the contractor replaced some rotten wood, put up new OSB sheathing, some new high tech membrane and 30 year shingles. Even re-leaded around the chimneys and put in a ridge vent.

Wasn't cheap, but they did quality work. So now I won't have to do this again for the rest of my life. The contractors motto is over build then he doesn't have to come back to fix it.

In the fall he's coming back to re-point and seal the chimney.

Another worry off my mind.
