There will be two winners, why only one in the poll?

Oh BTW , I don't think you can see the poll numbers til you vote! I don't know if everyone knows that!
I guess that prevents people from see results before they vote.

Vote! Vote! :hammer:

You may want to kill the thread and start two new polls. One for Democrat candidates and one for Republicans. Might not be getting many voters in the poll because it is confusing to select one candidate from a mixed party list for what is a per party caucus. Might also want to emphasize that the poll is to predict who *will* win in each caucus, not who people wish would win. I mean, Giuliani is leading the Republican candidates in the poll right now!? The guy is polling in Iowa at dead last, behind even Ron Paul. I don't know if he even stepped foot on Iowa soil in the last 2 months. He is *not* going to win the Iowa Republican caucuses. It would literally take every other Republican candidate dying in the next 2 hours for it to happen. Note, I'm not suggesting that he should or shouldn't win the nomination or that he is or is not a good candidate, just that he isn't going to win in Iowa. :)

I agree, 18 responds is such a poor turnout, the only thing it predicts is that the members here aren't interested in polling! :(

Is it that they are not interested in polls or are we just sick of political discussions.

I live in New Hampshire and we are being bombarded with phone calls, junk political mail, radio TV ads and our highways look like a dumping ground for political signs. And this has been going on since last summer.

The process is outdated and ridiculous! It made good sense in the days before mass media, the internet etc for there to be individual primaries in each state at different times. The candidates had to travel by horse and buggy, train, whatever and had to meet the public that way. Now days, I think there should be a series of nationally televised debates, maybe a few months of advertising and then one national primary. The money alone that's wasted in the protracted process now is mind boggling.

I don't know why they don't just come out with an honest system to select people for high office....Just sell the office (President, Senator whatever) to the highest bidder on Ebay or let Billy Maze hawk it on TV like Kaboom!!! ("Operators are standing by & If you act now we'll throw in a Bedazzler for free!"......The telephone # in New Jersey is Murryhill 3....... Again, that;'s Murryhill 3.......Again, that;'s Murryhill 3.......Again, that;'s Murryhill 3.......Again, that;'s Murryhill 3.......)
