Just like my old Buderus, antisieze smart, I also used that but forgot to mention it. I did not paint mine so you are already showing me up. Keep up the good work.

Very nice job Peter.
I probably missed something but how do you shake that grate?
Is it mica or glass panel?
Thanks and always good to see many many photos.

Thank you Nortcan, you didn't miss the shaker.
It isn't in yet, but there is a tiny shaker handle witch come true the front, and linked to the grate.
With a tool who i have to fabricate i can push and pull the shaker back and forth.
The grate will swivel a bit, i have no big expatations of it.
I think poking will has the best results.
The door has some smal glass strips in it.

Peter.
PS i found a picture from before the dismantling

It looks like you can easily get a flat poker under that door at grate level to clear the ash.

Hey Franco i tryed it but failed, tomorrow i try again with something like a bread knife.
Otherwise i have to fabricate a poker with a bended end from about 1.5" long.

1/8 inch thick by 3/4 inch wide. Grind off clearance at bottom of door if needed.
