We talked for like 30 min, mostly him "explaining" to me (the uneducated) the chemical process of electro...bla bla bla. Long story short he said most of my parts don't look that bad, but a couple of them he said should never have left the shop that way. I told him NONE OF MY PARTS LOOKED THE WAY I EXPECTED (IE NONE OF THEM LOOKED LIKE ANY OF THE PICTURES MY "FRIENDS " ON THE FORUM POSTED IN REGARDS TO WHAT NEWLY DIPPED PARTS SHOULD LOOK) He said he would re dip the 4 parts that had rust on them still but maybe I should lower my expectations. I told him I would give him a chance to make it right. However I think I might call him first thing Monday and if he has not done them yet tell him to send them back ASAP..
Quality of work would be the last thing on my mind right now... Id be happy just to get my rusty parts back toothy
thank god you at least have contact with them and your parts exist someplace! I think most of us would simply recommend getting your stuff back at this point so we can all breath a sigh of relief

Looks just like some ......country: gain time...if he was honest, parts would have already be done...
The only and last comment I can do about this is: take a day off and GO GET YOUR PARTS. Not nice or rusty parts are better than no parts at all.
Just hope I'm wrong

Go get your stuff done or not before they close and lock the doors for good. You will never get them back if that occurs.

Hey everyone, I sorry I don't keep you updated more often. I called Nu-Chrome and told Don to cancel my order and send my parts back. Don told me that my parts were done, (well the 4 that they agreed to redo were done) they said the rest look they way they should. He told me this Tuesday that they would be sent back this week. Aaaaaaannnndddd Keeping par with the impeccable business men that they are I could not get ahold of them Thursday or Friday to get a tracking number.... I am gonna try and call this morning and again on Monday as I am sure they will not answer even though they say they are open on Saturdays...

http://www.bbb.org/boston/Business-Reviews/coatin ... complaints
Based on BBB files, Nu-Chrome Restoration has a pattern of complaints concerning delivery issues. Consumers state that they send their items to the company to be restored and repaired. Consumers state that the company gives an estimated date that the items will be finished by. Consumers state that after contacting the company numerous times to verify that the items are complete, the company continuously states that the items will be finished at a later date. Consumers state that after numerous attempts to get delivery of their items, the company does not ship the items and does not return calls or emails. Consumers state they would like their items returned to them.

At least 15 years since the city has tried to collect back taxes and federal environmental officials have sought hazardous waste penalties against the refinishing company known as Nu-Chrome, the property has been foreclosed and the site designated for cleanup, city officials reported.

The tax consequences of Nu-Chrome Inc. in the Fall River Industrial Park owing $1,746,177 — just over $1 million for interest — remains unclear.

well... I decided to put my old Marine Corp gear on and take a ride today...

What I found for Nu Chrome was a HUGE building that had no signs for NuChrome but rather a large auto service center... of which Nu Chrome rents the far last section down.
