You saved his can,Gunny !Thank You !! Lesson 1: When someone tells you to go get your parts,go,go now!.......Lesson 2: We have a vast array of trained assault specialists in so many areas and disciplines on this Board. It's truly a rich gift to have! Post a question regarding reputation and direct experiences with a vendor/supplier prior to engaging in business with them. If you can avoid hosehead shaft-artists like this poor guy encountered, you'll be miles ahead of rest who just don't bother.......... ......I do believe "The Mayor" can be proud of what his Board achieved ! Carry On you batch O'Loonies ! :discuss:

In all fairness Glenwoodman had sent out his parts to these knuckleheads last fall (so it was before their "meld down" and all the public complaints). But good advise to give a google search on vendors before sending priceless/irreplaceable antiques to them ;)

Crystal got her jewelry back today... She is all cleaned up and polished w/ new mica. All I have to do is re-seal the stove pipe. Question...how many of you all re-seal the stove pipe every year??? Thank you again DC...

You did a good thing there ducane. Remember that in the Universe there is what I call the,"Favor Bank." If you make deposits into it, then; when you need to make a withdrawal, somehow things always work out.

I'll tell Ya's,the save on the 'Ol Girl's Jewelry was huge ! I'm proud to be with Folk's who understand the Treasure that could've been lost due to a Biz that's flaking out ! Don't mistake me,I wasn't on my High Horse when I posted that you should've gone immediate Gonzo to retrieve your fine articles from these Porcupine Heads. I guess I was simply shocked to learn just how close you came to losing some tough to replace valuables ! Dammit, for 450 dineros up front, you couldn't have been more above board as a Customer. This could've turned into a real Puker of a Stove Thread ! Thanx for your Restoration Efforts, and Thanx once again,Gunny for puttin' the "Slambango" on the Retrieve of the "Lost Art Works".......Don't Screw With Us Coalers,For We Are A Small But Mighty Force To Be Reckon'd With !!! :box:
