Is Dwyer 25 Mark II Manometer OK for a Reading Lehigh?

Is Dwyer 25 Mark II Manometer OK for a Reading Lehigh?

PostBy: the coop On: Sat Sep 07, 2013 11:32 am

I asked this on the Boiler Furnaces and stove section, but thought I might get more help on this here. I just started burning coal last season, so I'm still learning. I'm looking at putting a Dwyer 25 Mark II Manometer on my Lehigh. Is that the way to go. I have a direct vent kit on it, if that makes a difference. Also any tips or help is appreciated, thanks.

I would think that model mano would be good for any coal burning appliance. Shouldn't matter what form of venting. That particular model has the expanded scale for reading small negative pressures that we need to monitor. I use one on my furnace which is natural draft. Maybe someone that knows better will chime in :D

Thanks for the reply. I just want to make sure before I buy one. I'm hoping someone with Lehigh experience will chime in.

Here's the manual for your appliance I believe. It says .04 - .06 inches of water column. The manometer you suggested should be fine :D You'll want to research location to take reading from on the appliance. Some appliances have a port specifically for a mano and some don't. Just trying to help since no one with a reading has chimed in yet :)

Thank you again. My buddy that is going to do the work for me is going to research it and probably call Reading. He knows more about it as I'm sure I will just be confused trying to explain things to them. I appreciate your time and replies. I was just hoping someone with the same stove would see this.

Yer welcome partner! It's a little early yet lol as soon as we get closer to burning season there will be more traffic on here. It's gotten quite busier just recently :D Someone will chime in.
