Make sure you pack plenty of bottled water for the trip to the 2020 Olympics! I personally wouldn't go within 1000 miles of Japan  Just think of everything were NOT hearing with regards to safety, contamination, future, etc. (Its probably 100 times worst than they portray it! Unless their Gov. is different than every other country :yearight: )

I think their government is the problem. It is hiding the extent of the disaster from its citizens and the world in order to save face.

TEPCO has no financial incentive to stop the leaks at Fukushima.

"... because Fukushima Daiichi is never going to generate electricity again, every yen it spends on the decommissioning is thrown away.”

Is this an example of capitalism failing humanity because of the profit motive providing an incentive to make profits and minimize losses? Why do anything that will not bring home the bacon? Who cares if the world goes down the drain when real matters like money are on the line?

Yeah, really. They just took the last plant off line today, I hope it stays that way.

It appears that the report of a hurricane in the vicinity of Japan seems to be fraudulent. I just looked at a couple weather reports and they are reporting rain today, but rather nice weather for the next 10 days for both Tokyo and Fukushima.
