, very nice and neat painting. How did you do that ? I mean what did you use for painting a so clean job ?
If possible for you, could you send some photos from these newspaper ad showing the painted Glen. Thanks.
Pierre,
Well first I threw back 8 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon to stop my hands from shaking (just kidding), then I used a very thin artists brush and took my time and it came out really good with just one coat. It reminded me of painting models when I was a kid. I like how the letters stand out and think it looks classy. Thank you for the comments.
Chad
P.S. it was really only 7 can of Pabst

Pierre I found a few of these catalogues from the early 1900's. Enjoy

Not a Glenwood but another Boston stove company from 1908. Great reading about these stoves. Enjoy. Chad

Nice job. The painted letters really make it. Thanks for posting the literature and also for serving our country. My friend did two tours in Iraq. Still active. going on 12 years. How time flies. Happy heating season. Matt

Time waits for no one. I did 21 years active duty and the tolls of war wore heavily on me.
