I had a '68 fastback when I was in my 20's. Not sure why I sold it....in 1984! Wasn't quite as valuable back then. It was a GTA, white with blue racing stripe. 302 ci with front disc brakes. Somewhat rare for the '68

This one is an F code 302 auto. Pretty much a nothing car as far as historic value.

I'm pretty much a purist when it comes to saving classic cars... NOT THIS TIME!
Twin turbo 302 with a six speed sounds like a fun car to flog on the weekends. Modern updated suspension, clean simple original interior and a clean original exterior with the perfect ride height is what I'm after.

We shall, see what it becomes in the upcoming months.

Pulled from the river? Yeah I know the feeling. Should have seen some of the cars I've dragged home. Use to drive my dad nuts. Good luck with your new project. Matt

Told you she's a beautiful piece, strait from the river. :o
As ugly as it is there is almost no rust that can't be fixed with a small patch panel. Floors are rock solid, inner and outer rockers, inner fender wells, torque boxes etc, all good.

Hood and trunk lid not so good. :D

I been looking to add a muscle car to the stable for a long time. This one gives me every opportunity to make it exactly how I want it. The money, time and work don't scare me. Letting my wife get ahold of it after its done when I'm at work does :D

I'm really leaning toward a boosted small blockfor power. Couldn't wipe the *censored* eating grin off my face after hearing the blow off valve pop open on decel.

As far as color...Henry Ford said it best. You can have any color you want, as long as its black. Every car/truck I own is turbo charged and black. Can't mess with a good thing :D
