Hi Guys - I'm trying to find a shaker handle for my City Glenwood 12. They have a draw grate, which has two holes in the end of the slide bar. I've checked eBay, but nothing.
I found a picture of the handle only.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks - Chris

Seems pretty easy to make. Just a piece of 1/4 inch steel with two holes properly spaced and appropriate size drill rod either friction fit or brazed in.
I suspect places like Stove Hospital has boxes of them.

Thanks, I suppose you're right about Emery. When I hear from him, I'll ask.
I would like to find the genuine article, if possible.

I did buy one of these off ebay a couple weeks back for my Glenwood. It was not advertised as a Glenwood handle, but I did recognized it as such.
Not all the sellers of these really know what they fit.

I see lots of those type combo shaker and lid lifter handles when I use "stove lid" as the eBay search title.
Try this.

I actually now have two shaker handles. The good thing is they also fit the Crawford No. 3 Emery's restoring.
As to the City Glenwood 10 you have for sale - I sold all three City 14's to Emery last Fall. I'm using the City 12 direct draft for now, but it will be replaced with the Crawford when it's ready. I think that will about do it for me with these stoves - they're excellent, but not quite as efficient as Circulators or Base Heaters.
Thanks for the info - Chris
