Hand Fed Coal Stove: Harman TLC 2000
Coal Size/Type: Pea,Nut or Stove

I stopped by the dealer where I bought my stove yesterday, and he told me that because the Harman Mark II and the TLC 2000 were so close in output, they are not going to make the Mark II anymore. I wouldn't know if there is any left in the pipeline but if anyone was thinking about buying a new Mark II I would check now.

Makes sense to me. I never even considered a Mark II because it was so close in output to the III & I - might as well get one or the other, and that's what I ended up doing. Started off with the I & ended up with the III.

The only reason I bought the TLC 2000 over the Mark II was my wife liked the looks better, and I liked it because the ash pan is much larger and it was a top loader like my last stove. It also had the adjustable secondary air on the sides and sat a little higher.

Yep, makes sense here too--compensation for the MARKII is crank up the MARKI a tad or tune down the MARKIII a tad   toothy Nice choice ER:)
