Ahh you spoiled it jpete! It made such a nice story to tell the children how we got here. And then we had to start apologizing to every native we encountered on the way and then the revisionist got ahold of it and made him into Mitt Romney and there you have it. History is such a crock of *censored* when you realize it is filtered and re-filtered to have a desired effect.

I don't think it appropriate to take a moral high ground when our own ancestors were committing like crimes over 3oo years later. Even worse because it was national policy.
