Just replaced one elbow and a short length of smoke pipe so I'm ready to go.

The weather looks like it's going to slowly go downhill for the next couple weeks.

It might be time....:D

Wife put the kibosh on it. Supposed to be 67 on Tuesday and go downhill from there. Looks like Tuesday night is the target.

I think this is the first season I didn't have to replace all the pipe from the stove to throat plate. I only had to replace two elbows. And the only reason I had to replace them is because I tried to adjust one and I crushed it.

Yes, but I usually clean the ash out of them then spray them down with LPS3. They still rust. Last season I didn't bother cleaning them and left a layer of ash and they were fine.

I have run the EFM for heat a few times, usually in the morning. Burning black walnut in the Fisher insert now.
The cold is on the way!
