Glue failed badly on bottom of fuel filter, bottom plate came off potentially allowing unfiltered fuel to got directly to injectors. Run less than 1500 miles. Also found pieces of filter base glue in outlet to fuel injectors. No readily apparent damage done however.

I had other trucks with these Mann fuel filters I purchased from rockauto, one truck began running smoother, which concerned me. I pulled the fuel filter during a fuel pressure check. Found almost no pressure drop under throttle across filter (pre and post gauges), pulled filter and discovered the failure. pulled the other filters and discovered no failures, although other trucks only had a few hundred miles on them.

Not saying all these filters are bad, but the glue is clearly deteriorated and it happened fast. No fuel additives run. I won't run these mann filters in any of my trucks again. Injectors are too expensive to take that kind of risk. I've attatched pics in case anyone is interested.

That is inexcusable. The damage this could have caused is serious. I would call MANN personally and tell them what happened.
