Chugging along!

Chugging along!

PostBy: Paulie On: Thu Oct 24, 2013 10:57 am

Cleaned stove and power vent, lubed motors etc couple days ago, fired it off, varoom, heat! Cold and windy out, shop toasty warm this am, the Pioneer just keeps
heating with out fuss. I'm always impressed by the simplicity and reliability of this unit. Hard to find a fault with it, except maybe
a little noise. Gets me thinking about the "quiet" kit option. How much quieter does it get ? Not a big deal in my application but
I could see it being an issue in a living room etc. The rumored " out door boiler" has got my attention too, may be the ticket for
green house heat ?

The quiet kit is half the audible noise, a lot of the noise is the B30 Combustion fan, you can try it in stages. The good news is that any part you buy gives you a spare, which is always a good idea, so talk to your local dealer or give us a call we can get you set up. :)

Will the B30 fit an older Econoline 1?

Hand Fed Coal Stove: installing a VC 2310
Coal Size/Type: Pea/Nut/Wood in the VC and anything that will fit in the Bucket a Day. It's not fussy.

Not so far, it can be ordered as an option with a new stove. We do use a quieter combustion fan on most units, but the enclosure and ultra quiet stoker motor has not been phased in as standard as of yet.

Yes that fan should be the one installed, there were a few oddball units that had a really small fan, but the feeder can be drilled and tapped to accept the B30 in that case.
