Had no intention of starting any war here.
I appreciate everyone's contributions.
I have a 1600 sq ft garage I'm considering changing to coal heat now, so who knows what stove I will choose next.
Life's experiences educates. If not, little point in discussing or sharing them.
My dealer came through, and to me that's all that matters.
My stove is working well.
Gonna go look at some pics of ya'alls coal bins now, my next project.

It's all good - you have no control over what happens here. Sometimes the ash door gets left open, and there's an overfire ... ;)

I'm jealous you can get bulk delivery and probably cheap too there were you live. I paid $ 390 for a pallet 2. 1/4 ton of Blazcek this season. Although I found a dealer further down near my son for $ 359 a pallet. Only good thing is it's in plastic 40lb bags.. better then the 50lb er's in a synthetic burlap sack we only had access too back 25 years ago. Made a mess. The bag leaked Coal dust everywhere. Also those extra 10lbs added up. You had only one choice for an opening on them (had to return to dealer when done) so dumping them in a Tote was awkward. With these new bags I just drop it in a tote and slice it with a Utility knife any way I see fit. Carrying it in is clean on my clothes too. Thank god for improved bags.

Good Morning Spur and All !! The only thing you started here was a call for help for your personal stove situation. The bottom line: It's solved through the backing of your excellent Dealer and that's a Total Win ! You gained help here, and that's what this Board's a Big Part of ! I started the other Thread to accommodate a long, festering situation. I did my best to give that a Home elsewhere so that this Thread could get back to the spot-on business of assisting you. Others have gained much knowledge by reading about your situation, and have learned a lot from it in order to apply that info at their house. That's the Big Picture......Now,did you idle your new stove down,or did you shut it down ? Either way,you may have had a good opportunity to see how it controls in a "Maintain A Burn Only" situation so that you don't have to re-fire....Something to ponder also-I would think that you are now a Happy Turkey Guy and no longer "Disgusted". You may want to start a new journey by firing(No Pun Intended) a new thread regarding a satisfied Harman Super Mag Stoker Owner who's going through his first weeks of learning and living with his stove......Consider it,and it's good to have you all aboard,Gang ! :notworthy:
