Have you used their coal? The going price around Middletown is $260.00 a ton picked up. It is about an hours drive for me to go to Meadowbrook for coal should be worth the drive.

I used their coal when I was burning pea coal. They sell a mix
of new and reclaimed southern range coal. It has a lot of volatiles
and burns very well. I would use them again for my rice coal, but I
can't get anybody to haul that far for me.
I used to haul my own with the shop truck, but the cops are such a
pain in the balls these days I can't afford the hassle.
Give them a call 717-453-7922

A guy I work with said he called around and the best price he found was $260.00 a ton picked up. I asked him if he checked Middletown Ice and Coal and he said yes. He must not have thats why I was going to go to Lykens to get it. Coal up there is $170.00 per ton picked up. Saving over $200.00 would have been worth the trip for me. Middletown Ice and Coal is where I have been getting my coal for the past nine years. They are only five miles from me, I will call Monday and check the prices. Thanks for letting me know.

I called Middletown Ice and Caol last weekend to get some coal. The lady told me the guy that loads the coal is in every other week end. So I called this morning, the lady said the guy that loads the coal called off today. But if I want to shovel it on myself that would be ok. I told her I would go some where else to get my coal, she said fine! So I got my four year old grand son, hooked the trailer to my truck and went up to Lykens to get the coal. The place isn't called Meadowbrook any more, it is RR Coal Inc now. I got two tons of white ash pea coal for $340.00 it would have been $460.00 down here. It was about an hours ride and about fourty five miles but we enjoyed our time togeather and the ride was nice. I will be getting more coal from them when I need it. Thanks for the replies.
