Bought a used A125 (A150) and am slowly putting the pieces together. I've got some issues hopefully some of you can shed light on:
1) Exhaust outlets -- are ~9" -- however, I can not find ANY 9" ductwork! Is it supposed to be 10" with the crimped end facing the stove? I bought a 9" to 8" reducer; but it's too small to fit over the outlet of the stove without 'straightening" the crimp-ring out -- I figured this is a sure sign of something WRONG and thats why I'm writing! I've searched these forums and google for "9 inch stove pipe, chimney, flue, ducts" and come up empty handed. It's vaporware... Only thing i came up with that was interesting is a 10" elbow being a 9.5" diameter.
2) The "collars" that go around the two exhaust outlets on the stove are missing. Any idea if they're standard parts or if I should just get them from Keystoker?
3) The exhaust has to pass through a (dummy / non load bearing) wall under my stairs to get to the chimney. I know that the exhaust temps are low -- any advice on doing this? IE: Get a 12" duct and pass a 10" duct through with spacers as a "zero clearance" solution? I'm liable to just level the damn wall all together; but... always looking for input. PS: there is no way to put a flue on the 'back side' of the chimney -- the stairs actually abut the chimney at that point; and my duct work is on the "other side" of the wall from where the thimble is.
