I have moved very large heavy equipment in the past. I have utilized pipes and rigging equipment. I think the nice thing about the dolly is that once the stove is ratchet strapped to it they become one unit. Utilizing pipes to move across a flat floor works but the dolly was able to get up to one hearth and then roll across a floor up a ramp onto a truck off the truck down a ramp and across another floor then to the hearth. Nothing needed to be removed from the stove either. No doors, firebrick or grates.

Once we get a little colder weather a report on how the stove is working out would be nice. What you like and what you don't, if anything.
