Power Venting Coal Stoves

My Alaska Kast Console II, which uses a power vent, is located in our living room. The combination of the power vent and blower make the noise level higher than I would like. I have been thinking about getting rid of the power vent and adding a chimney since this would reduce the noise level some.

Can you tell me what's involved in installing a chimney? My stove has a top vent, so the hole through the wall currently is about 6 1/2 ft. above the floor.
