Which DS Machine Stove for Shop?

The circulator tubes have my attention. Do they really circulate the room air enough to make a difference? Or, is it not much better than a stove without a fan. Or, should I ask, would the stoves with circulator tubes warm up a room as nicely as a stove with a fan. I grew up with stoves we had to put fans behind. Moving the air made quite a difference. How well would the circulator tubes in the DS Machine stoves move air? Or, would it more or less circulate the air around itself. Other than size, is any style DS Machine stove favored over another? I'm thinking maybe the right burn (with warming shelf), or the circulator. From what I can see in the pictures (which isn't much), it looks like the two stoves mentioned have circulator tubes. Just looking for opinions from DS Machine users. I may take a ride to the shop some time over the winter. I'll be heating the original shop with HITZER 30-95 this year. Once I open up the addition, I'll have double the square footage (1600 square feet). I'll need a bigger stove. Could go with proven 50-93. DS Machine would be like having a new toy without ANY fan noise. Thanks, Oliver

I wonder if the circulator tubes on these stoves might draft sufficiently enough to suck something like a ping-pong ball up through the bottom and spit it out the top?

Don't rule out the DS Kozy-King 300-09 furnace. The attached blower is very effective at moving the air. However, this stove does not have a hopper which may or may not be important to you.

Not sure if the stack effect of the circulator tubes would pick up a ping pong ball, but they certainly enhance the stove's surface area for convective heating. If you place your hand over the tubes, you can feel the hot air streaming upwards.

If you plan to keep the shop heated continuously, the DS circulator stoves would certainly fit the bill. If you only plan to have a fire when you're working out there, a stove with a fan may be a better option. Must my 2¢.

Not going to happen! I don't no how to describe it, but it heats my 1000sq ft basement and my 1300sq ft living area all by 1 vent and open stairway at other. Block basement has no insulation.
