Looked at quite a few models. Took awhile to decide between the traditional stove w/optional jacket and a furnace.
Decided to take a ride to berwick, Pennsylvania and check out the lesiure line plant. Can't remember who exactly walked me through the plant but he was beyond helpful in pointing me in the right direction.
I decided to go with the ak110 as a primary source of heat in my 2200 sq ft home. Hookup went smooth , tied into central air duct. The coal-trol (thermostat) made startup easy. Within 30 minutes the difference it made in the house was amazing.
Im no salesman but if your looking for a primary source of heat thats cheap and easy id recommend checking out Lesiure Line Ak110. Thanks for all the help and heat guys
THpolaris wrote:Hello how is the Ak110 working for you? I recently installed one in my new house. I am not living in it yet but I fired up the furnace a few days ago to keep it warm for my builder. I noticed that I had a lot of wasted coal so I moved the feed rate to a minimum of 25 from 40. Could you let me know what your settings are for everything? I the house is also 2200 SQ I am new to coal and want to make sure it is being as efficient as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks!

Burnt 4 and a 1/4 ton last winter , which seemed like it would never end.
Sorry guys , I had every intention of being active on forum , working on the road all kinds of crazy hours has limited me from doing so. Couldn't believe it's been a year already.
