Yup...boot making is a dying art. *sigh* It seems no one wants to work for a living. You show this type of occupation to a youngster & they go "How boring". They miss out on the satisfaction of making a product from start to finish.

What a story, the guy reminds me of my grandfather, who was not really a craftsman but put everything he had in everything he did. If I could get my foot custom measured Id do it in a minute. Thanx for posting that :D
