I bought my Pioneer from Jerry almost 10 years ago and it still works great. A few years ago I installed the coaltrol and it works even better. But.......my blower motor quit after about eight years, I purchased locally a new Fasco motor to replace it. It lasted until today (naturally it's 20 out there). The shaft is extremely hard to turn even after I lubed it. Two weeks ago it was straining and I lubed it and the shaft freed up, not this time. Is coal dust getting in there somehow? The Fasco motor I used was a B75, CFM 75, 3000rpm, .59 amps. Has anyone else had this problem? Can another motor be used to replace it? any ideas would help tremendously. The winter is just starting.
