I need to extend my auger tube. What size pipe? The auger fits inside a 2" pipe but it is too small on the outside to fit snuggly in the collar on the burner. I made a custom jacket for the outside of the boiler and I only have double bubble insulation on it so far. What a difference it has made allready. I am putting 3" of blue board on top of the double buble. It will be tight as a drum.

I think the 700's use 2.5" schedule 40 pipe.

Is the pipe collar about 2 7/8" ID?

The EFM parts list specs that pipe as 2.5" OD.

It is 2.5" schedule 40 trade size conduit. 2 1/2" rigid. Steel, Rigid aluminum conduit, Stainless. It will be 2 7/8" outside diameter. Go to electric supply house and get 2 1/2" rigid.
