oooooo !! I heard about it on radio at werk and looked at it as soon as got in tonight love the back lit keyboard and aluminum case .
I have a Black MacBook I got in June it WAS the top'o the line there for a bit, now I'm behind the curve . I'd replace my ole iMac before this one though it still has a PowerPC G4 in it only thing is I have never been able to out work it with anything that I do on a computer. I make my DVDs and edit on the MacBook and I just bought an 1873 Winchester replica and had it slicked up by a master gun builder in Nov. so no more toys for a bit .
Apple will make ya crazy with innovations like how Apple stole that idea from Coal-trol to ramp the cooling fans up and down :D

The Macbook Pro laptops also have the backlit KB and auto light regulating display based on ambient light. The Air is just dead sexy....

that is sweet! if coal was free, i'd have that 1800 bucks in a few months lol
i have a g4 1.2gig ibook that i bought in 2005, and a blueberry g3 400 imac that i bought for 50 bucks in 2005, and a g4 400 desktop that i bought in 2000, and a performa 180 with a sonnet g3 400 conversion.......i am hoping to get a mac mini this year

I like the Minis. Trying to convince the wife (teacher, 5th grade) that she needs one.
