Settings for KA6

Hi Guys

Just finally fired up my KA6. Were should you set the honeywell 4006b thermostat at and differential setting should you use ie. 5,10,15, for degrees. I do have a triple aqua stat setting are 160.degrees and 180 degrees

160-180 with a 10 differential should work just fine.

The 4006b is for the dump zone? 200/5 should be fine. You don't want to dump heat more often than necessary. If there is no pex in the system you can run the setpoint higher, but the next challenge becomes expansion capacity.

I am running pex lines to a 170,000btu heat exchanger. seems to be purring along the last few hours, water temperature seems to be holding @ 180 degrees with 12 p.s.i of pressure, house is a comfortable 70 degrees, did set 4006b @ 200. Sure beats heating with propane!!!
