Oh that's right the food wasn't laced with all the growth steroids, hormones and genetically modified foods that are the staple of most children's diets today. Lets think for a minute. What is one of the signs of an athlete that using steroids or HGH, that's right unexplained outbursts of rage and violence, but wait, that can't be it the FDA has approved all of these so it must be something else. Maybe the children are just not understood and need freedom to express themselves without the hindrance of silly old rules and bounders.
I agree with some of this...My GF and I have moved to an almost totally organic/pasture raised hormone free diet. It does end up costing us about 100 dollars a week to feed two people, but the food tastes better and there is less crap in it. The way I see it, if you pay more for food now, hopefully you can pay less for healthcare later. We also have a vegetable garden that we only fertilized with compost and rotted manure...We have the best pickles in the USA I think!!
I think that medication is used WAY TOO MUCH on kids these days.
I think your comment about steroids and HGH is off base though. HGH has never been linked to outbursts of rage, and the link for steroids is very very weak. Also, there are many many many kinds of steroids and using it as a blanket term is dangerous. The media really needs to stop talking about this stuff because they are completely clueless and spreading misinformation.
Watch "Bigger Stronger Faster" or a good documentary on anabolic steroids...it is pretty entertaining and not filled with BS like our news channels are.
Finally, I think the FDA is about as clueless as the rest of the government and is all money driven. Seriously, who the hell would allow stuff like fluoride in public water supplies?? One google search on the effects of drinking fluoridated water should make ANYONE stop drinking it...
Not to mention all the other stuff the FDA allows in our food that has been banned nearly worldwide...the list is LONG and scray. BPA, food dyes, BHT, nitrates....Why does anyone use food dyes?!? who wants their food dyed a color instead of having a natural look??
