Speaking of manometers. Did anyone ever use this tool?
I haven't tested it yet on my stove mainly cause I am not real concerned with drafting issues.
This tool is what I use on the job to set up low pressure gas controls for lp ang natural gas. But it can easily be used to test flue pressures in any solid, liquid or gas fuel operation. It is very accurate.

I have a Dwyer very similar to yours. Same scenario, I use it to set up gas burner pressures and also duct velocities and system balancing.

I used it to set up my stoker, and to check it now and then.

Aww ..... You are correct mate. I always pack an extra 9 volt battery and a trusty Dwyer Mark II for backup on all my voyages.
