Found this old gas stove in a basement today. Should have taken a few more pics but this was all I got.
Not a Coal Appliance but...

Neat looking.
My grandmother still used her porcelain covered gas stove up until the early 1970's. When my aunt bought her a new stove Grandma wouldn't part with the old one so they had it hooked up in the basement to help with the extra cooking for family get togethers.
The last Thanks Giving she used it, we heard a loud WUMP and hurried down to the basement to see what happened. The oven door was wide open and there was sweet potatoes all over one side of the basement. It became just a shelf after that !

Ya just never know what your going to find in a house, having been in both the auction & estate sale business I've come across things that people swore wasn't even theirs.
