feed motor on leisure line pioneer le

I having an issue with my pioneer le this season maintaining temperature without an overfeed or underfeed.I have cleaned and oiled all motors, cleaned the grate holes and removed and cleaned the under the grate. I have read elsewhere in one of the forums that the feed motor has to be reinstalled in the correct orientation. Is this correct? And if so can you tell me what the correct orientation is? thanks for your help.

Not sure what you mean by orientation? Did you clean the flue pipe and ensure the chimney is not blocked partly by fly ash?

Specifically what type of problems are you having? Are you running a coaltrol and it's controlling the temps? Are you talking about overshoot and undershoot of temps?

Thanks for your response. I have cleaned the chimney about two weeks ago.I do have a coaltrol and the over and undershoots are based on the temperature set point. The question of orientation of the stoker motor is that it can be installed apparently, in two positions toward stove or away from stove.

If this motor is the open style "C" frame style, flipping over the laminate stack does reverse direction of rotation.
Now question is...does it need to run CW or CCW?

If looking at the feeder from the rear of the stove the cord should be on the left side of motor, also the two 5/16"head bolts should be closer to the stove along with the motor shaft.
