I called Cranston Coal but they wanted $315 a ton.
Is that delivered? Fleet Fuel in Johnston, Sells Reading and I believe they match advertised prices... They do home delivery too, with a Moffett so they can put it where ever you want it...

I had a stove that the fire would slowly work its way into the hopper. Check/replace gasket burner grate. My other fix was to loosen the hopper after empting all the coal out and taking a small hammer and forming a tight fit to the burner assembly. I also put a gasket there so it was air tight. Most of my problem was when I cleaned my stove I would take off the hopper. Over the years my hopper seal got bent and loose. Check/fix those two areas and I think your back heating safely.

If you have 45cfm going in you should have close to 45cfm going out. Any more and the air has to come from somewhere any less and the extra air has to go somewhere. Since coal has space between each piece that is usually the path of least resistance. Make sure the Direct vent is clean. Also make sure the bottom of the hopper has a good seal where it meets the feeder.
And this is why stoker operators need to know the *Over the Fire* draft reading as well as the *Stack* draft reading when changing/adjusting combustion fan air.

Delivery not included, I believe it was $40. They put it in my garage, I never touched a pallet.
