WL110 Not Keeping up
yes, more details. I don't know about WL110's but from other threads it seems that coaltrol settings, how long the stoker fires, temps, draft readings, ash condition, heat load on the unit, etc. will be needed to help resolve the issue.

The boiler could need a cleaning, feed rate adjustment, or both.
If you don't already have a copy of the manual handy, print it out. http://leisurelinestoves.com/files/79869225.pdf
Step 1. Read the entire manual.
Step 2. Perform a full cleaning.
Step 3. Follow the manual instructions to setup your full-output fire (also check draft).
Step 4. Report back with the results.

Is the boiler just used for making heat or do you use it to make domestic hot water (DHW) as well?
Many times the BTU's required to heat hot water for the faucets and showers consumes a much larger percentage of the boilers output than was calculated.

Does your unit have the larger 65 cfm combustion air fan? This was a problem last year beacuse the original fan was undersized.

Also make sure you have a full grate of fire when calling for heat. If you do not have a full fire refer to the setup procedure again.
I cleaned the fines out from under the fire ramp I saw a marked improvement this year. I will say I have yet to contact LL about the new fan, but I will say after two years I have had very few issues with the unit. I have seen coal vary ton to ton from the same brand quite considerably also.
Sorry its been a crazy couple of weeks, I work at Ups and have not had time to update you! I cleaned the 110 and that worked till now. The last two mornings it was 72 °. I just got the unit installed before work got crazy and I never burned coal before!!! I'm enjoying not spending $500 a month on oil and our house is a warm 74° not 70 ° like when burning oil!!
The 110 has the 65 Cfm fan
Not heating dhw
Full grate of fire
Hl 180- LL 160
draft is .002-.003
65 ft of base board
House is not insulated well (1970s)
Need new windows
One other question I had is I just bought a new thermostat that is requiring a C wire or common (24 vac) . Can I wire that into the triple aquastat? I can usually figure stuff out but not sure? if so where? I think I might need to get a transformer? Thanks so much!!!!
ITS BEEN A PLEASURE BUYING LL!!!! THANKS MATT & DAVE!!!!

Common does come from x'fmr, same x'fmr that the Red comes from.
Could be the aquastat (x'fmr), if no other zone relays are the x'fmr Red.

Perhaps you don't have enough baseboard installed. When the house was in the 60's did the boiler reach 180 degrees?
Did the house stay comfortable with your previous oil boiler?

I have 3M-50 Wireless Stats installed before I purchased/installed my WL110.
I picked up 24VAC from my Taco SR503 switching relay I use for pump control to power those stats.
I'm not sure if you can pick up 24VAC from your triple aquastat (L7224) on the WL110 I need to turn over some rocks......maybe go with a seperate 24VAC wall wart transformer to power up your thermostat for now.....trip to Radio Shack.

What stat are you installing?
Good luck.........Dick
The house did stay warm on oil !!! But it was over 3k in oil a year!!!!
The unit did not reach 180 when the house was 60s
How would more baseboard help? By next winter I will have our second floor hot water baseboard installed! We have electric baseboard upstairs now!
