Hillary As President?

It could happen. I still think the Clintons will find a way to steal the nomination regardless. I hope so because i'm pretty sure McCain can beat her. I'm not as confident about Obama.

Here's something scary.

Hillary as the candidate surely would allow McCain to win, yes, the race would be closer with Obama running. I could see the "Clinton Political Machine" quietly slipping Obama a very large sum of money to drop out and quietly go away or running Hillary on the Independent ticket.

Wow.... You do have a low opinion of politicians John, dont you!!
I cant imagine any pol who would ever accept a bribe to just fade away from a good shot at being President. It's usually not money that drives them. It's power, ego, prestige &, in very rare cases a genuine desire to change their country & the world for the better. (yes, I am just naive enough to believe such people exist & who knows, maybe Obama is one)
In my opinion, the names Truman & Eisenhower come to mind in that I dont think power, prestige or money was their motivation for running for & becoming President. (I may even add Ford & Carter to that list)

Actually, Devil, I was just attempting some humor. What's not funny, though is the "Clinton Political Machine", a perfect example of actions driven by power, ego, and prestige. I feel Obama is an honest person and is free of the greed that drives the Clintons, however he is up against the 2 of them and their greed and lust for power.
But as the saying goes..."May the best man win".

Barring a sudden revelation that Obama is actualy a Martian or the son of Osama Bin Laden, I think Hillary is toast.

Well...we know the Carter was inept at being President but we have no such knowledge of Obama & I'm willing to give him a chance.

Not with the world we live in today. I don't want someone who needs on the job training. Agree with you on Carter, Obama could be deja vu.

What kind of change is Obama talking about? He's talking about the change in your pocket and all the folding money too, going overseas. And talking about about making us subserviant to the UN. Talking about banning small arms and light weapons. Finally when someone says what does he stand for, there is an answer.
