Like W'nC--I have one of the nicest driveways in Freetown--GRAVEL--topped with much ash. GUESS WHAT girls? It ain't magic--I spread it on the 2/3 bottom of the drive during the winter/snow months & come spring/summer, I'll spread it with the old 8N w/ back-blade & then roll it all during the warm months just cause I'm goin that way--I spray it on occasion, even have spread an occasional bag of Sakrete--why the hell would I put it where it's gonna get tracked into the house or not be able to hit my ash can when emptying?
Bottom line is, ya get what you work for & with a gravel drive, this ash works REALLY well if you're set up to do it PROPERLY
As already stated, also does real good a filling holes & low spots in the yard but needs to be rolled/packed --YES, grass will grow in it--I use it in the garden & all that bullshit about it's acidity & possible DANGERS, is just that.
